Overview
2Fawcett are recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant to join a company located in Derbyshire on a permanent basis. Although this is a permanent role, you will be required to commence employment ASAP, so the desired candidate will have a short notice period or be immediately available. This is a new role as Supply Chain Assistant. The company are very well known in their industry and have an extremely stable team.
So if you are coming to the end of a contract, immediately available or keen to find a brilliant work environment whilst having a love and passion for Supply Chain, then this could be the role for you!

The Role & Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Assistant
- Controlling supply chain activity
- Working on the European Accounts
- Analysis of MP&L function
- Look at quotations for customers
- Expediting orders and requests
- Liaising with suppliers
- Input stock movements
- Daily running of invoices and corrections
- Reporting and maintaining schedules
- Working closely with the planning and production departments
Requirements of the Supply Chain Assistant
- Ideally have a minimum of two years experience
- Have a determined and positive outlook
- Not be afraid to work hard, have passion and desire
- Strong communication skills
