Procurement Manager - £45-50,000 + Bonus
A growing, project based business are seeking to hire a Procurement manager that will have an end to end job remit through to strategy and direction for the future and will oversee a small team of Procurement Administrators. The primary areas of responsibilities will be:

- Negotiate preferential terms with suppliers (payments terms, ETA’s, SLA’s etc.)and ensure that procurement terms are matched to specific project requirements
- Maintain supplier relationships & database.
- Daily communication with Sales team, Engineers, Project Managers and Technical Coordinator to track job progress.
- To provide pricing & stock availability information to the Sales and Project Management departments.
- Ensuring that orders are delivered on time and in good condition
- Undertake all job and stock purchasing including all associated record keeping.
- Daily administration of Delivery notes and Dispatch notes and passing to Finance Team.
- Use the Stock Movement Process and form to record all movements in and out of Warehouse

The successful candidate will have significant experience in Procurement, ideally in a Technical or Engineering business. You will have evidential cost saving experience and achieving “best value”. Supplier relationships must be constantly maintained, managed and reviewed to keep pace with the rapid growth of the industry. As well as being hands on, you should be able to drive the strategic direction of procurement, supported by the CIPS qualification. Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and being calm under pressure are all essential attributes.
