Senior Procurement Consultant

Our client has just won multiple contracts within the Healthcare industry, including major procurement projects with some of the most high-profile government departments and will be looking to capitalise on this recent growth into the industry, by welcoming a Senior Procurement Consultant into their growing team based in their state of the art London office.

The role:

Fundamentally, you will consult with high-profile clients on multiple complex end-to-end procurement projects within the Health and Medical industry (e.g. clinical, radiology). As part of the process, you will be looking for opportunities to deliver tactical procurement and strategic savings for your clients. Your role will also involve leading on sourcing suppliers, tendering, negotiating contracts and managing new and existing relationships.

Ultimately these projects are aimed at providing the client with a great service, whilst also keeping in mind that their procurement projects must improve outcomes for their patients.

Requirements

• History of managing end-to-end procurement projects in the Health and Medical industry (experience with NHS clients would be beneficial)
• Ability and confidence to manage and influence key internal and external stakeholders
• A track record of working to budgets and timescales and demonstrate a history of achieving impressive individual savings against said procurement budgets
• Knowledge of tendering platforms such as Oracle, SAP and Ariba
