Global Sourcing Manager - Prestigious FTSE 100 - Pharmaceutical - London - £40-65K + Package

Due to a huge expansion programme, a rapidly growing Global FTSE 100 Pharmaceutical company is looking for an ambitious procurement professional with extensive global sourcing experience to join their award-winning team. There will be exciting opportunities to work overseas and earn rapid promotion.

This specialist procurement role will involve:

• Successfully handling spends of £50m to £200m across a diverse range of categories
• Designing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiencies and push the business forward
• Working closely with director-level team members on a daily basis, absorbing their knowledge and challenging them to improve best practice procurement
• The opportunity to travel and work overseas in various locations across Europe, Asia, America, Australasia and Africa

This procurement specialist must have:

• A proven track record of not only creating but implementing key procurement strategy that delivered multi-million poundsavings
• An impressive history of rapid progression within procurement and strategic sourcing
• A degree or equivalent
• CIPS (preferable)
• The gravitas to influence key stakeholders and the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change
