Inside Track (part of the DHL Group) are looking for an Operations Support Manager to join our busy Alconbury site.
As the Operations Support Manager you will be responsible for the operation leadership of performance monitoring, continuous improvement and change management. You will analyse data and prepare summaries of the information for the business and look to identify areas for improvement. You will champion new business initiatives from conception to implementation and provide guidance advice or training to more junior colleagues.

Other duties include:

  • Conduct regular operational performance reviews with a view to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with accounts teams to understand future customer needs and review process to meet these.
  • Ensure timely reporting processes are in place and corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier's performance based on agreed requirements and initiate improvement actions when required.

You will need to have demonstrable experience of implementing continuous improvement initiatives as well as some form of people management skills. It would be very advantageous to have a background in the automotive industry or a Supply Chain and Logistics environment. VBA programming knowledge and if you are a CPC card holder that would also be useful.

  • A good level of computer literacy, particularly an advanced knowledge of Excel.
