Reporting into the Head of Operations, this role would suit a Warehouse Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, Warehouse Manager or Supply Chain Manager commutable to the Rushden area.

THE ROLE:

  • Driving warehouse & logistics operations on the 'shop-floor' - a team of approximately 90 heads.
  • Management of Change agenda for the entire site
  • Health & Safety
  • Budget & KPI Management control of circa £4 million.
  • Liaising with a high-profile client who has high standards and strives for excellence.
  • Own and drive CI initiatives across the operation.
  • Operational Projects.
  • Adopt and foster a 'Change Mentality' and inspire other people to take the same approach.

THE PERSON:

  • Exposure as a Warehouse Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, Warehouse Manager or Supply Chain Manage
  • 3PL experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Closed-book experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Driven to achieve operational excellence. The team and the site are high-performers and this person must strive to be the best.
  • 'Can-Do' mentality - this site prides itself on people who take a 'front-foot' mentality to problems & challenges.
  • Lean/CI experience is highly desirable.
  • Management of budgets circa £2.5 million upwards.
  • Able to grasp the wide breadth of the business and get involved with whatever areas need improving.
  • Able to step up to Head of Operations within 2 years.
