Description

The key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics (warehouse) - will be:

Targeting new business - building a pipeline of £35m in total revenue

7+years within Logistics & Supply Chain

Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales

Extensive experience selling into the Automotive or Industrial Manufactoring market

Exceeding their personal new business target / budget.

Developing and broadening relationship with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities for new product sales.

Maximising sales penetration within each customer by selling the complete range

Midlands based: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry, Regionally (St. Albans, Milton Keynes etc.)

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics (warehouse), will be results driven and have the industry knowledge to understand customer problems and create solutions with the aid of the team.

The Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics (warehouse) - will:

Minimum of 5 years of selling UK contract Logistics (Warehouse side rather than Transport side)

Industry knowledge of Automotive, Aviation or Retail would be beneficial (not essential)

Be someone who wants to grow their business and maintain an entrepreneurial streak.

Proven track record in new business development

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to undertake travel.

An open and likeable personality with honesty and integrity

Autonomous approach with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Midlands based: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry, Regionally (St. Albans, Milton Keynes etc.); travel into East Midlands head office

Job Offer

c.£50,000 - 70,000 + Bonus, Car, Laptop, Mobile & health care

Midlands based: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton etc., or M1 region (St. Albans, Milton Keynes etc.)
