Electrical Buyer

Electrical Buyer required for Contractor in Bournemouth

Electrical Buyer required by Design & Build Contractor operating on various healthcare, commercial, schools and colleges, retail and industrial services installation projects in the South, covering new build and refurbishment projects up to £3 million (Electrical value).

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Placing sub-contract orders
• Purchasing day to day materials for in excess of 10 on-going contracts with combined values up to £15M
• Negotiating best terms with wholesalers/manufacturers.
• Liaising with site foreman to ensure prompt deliveries are made.

You Candidate must:

• Have extensive knowledge of electrical products
• Have proven relationship building skills
• Have extensive experience within the electrical purchasing and/or electrical wholesale supply market - Have the ability to manage multiple items of work simultaneously
• Have strong inter-personnel skills
• Be keen to join a growing, dynamic and enthusiastic company.

To be considered for the role you must be able to work in the UK without restriction.

You will be able to work in the UK without restriction, you will also have held a similar position with a Electrical or M&E Contractor within the UK. Interviews can be arranged at short notice for the right applicant.
