A contract manager job in Lancashire paying £50k for a main contractor
Your new company
You will join a well-established building contractor based in Lancashire who have built a strong client base over the years. They work within NHS and public sector environments specialising in refurbishment schemes up to £1.5m. They have a tight knit team and due to expansion and additional workload they are making the appointment of a contract manager. They hold an excellent reputation within the industry and solely work across the North West.
Your new role
You will report to their MD and be one of 4 Contract Managers. You will manage a number of schemes ranging in value. You will manage your own time and will be given a high level of autonomy. You must have experience managing contracts and working alongside a commercial team. You must have experience working on NHS / Education schemes and be comfortable running your own projects and managing site teams. You will divide your time between site / office. Due to the nature of the projects you will be able to build lasting relationships with their clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as a contracts manager and have experience working on fast track, live schemes. You will be interested in working for a smaller business who hold a strong work ethic. Client relationships is key to this business therefore you must be able to maintain and develop good working relationships.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £45,000 - £52,000 + package. You will receive support from the directors and as a company they are looking for someone who wants to work for their business on a long term basis. The company are continually growing and gaining further contracts, they have always had a steady increase in turnover and as the business grows opportunities for progression will be available.
