Logistics Controller London N4 to £26,000 p.a. + benefits

Leading textiles importer & distributor needs Logistics Controller for their North London based warehouse

The Role

As Logistics Controller you will be responsible for the accuracy of all goods being sent from the warehouse and for returns processing. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for the people and processes needed to ensure that all goods are dispatched quickly and accurately to match order paperwork and third party logistics (3PL) records. Your responsibilities will include:

• overseeing Goods Out from the warehouse 3PL relationships to ensure orders arrive on time
• ensuring all orders checked for accuracy / quality, and resolving issues in a timely manner
• receipting & logging returns on central system
• working with Warehouse / Stock Control Teams to resolve any issues
• supporting Systems / Stock Control team to implement new systems / procedures as required

The Company

Our London based client is one of Europe's leading importers and distributors of quality products from around the world. They operate from offices and two large warehousing facilities in the UK with their own dedicated sourcing offices / fulfilment centres in China and India.

The Person

As Logistics Controller you will have experience of managing Goods Out within a demanding warehouse environment. You will also:

• have knowledge of carriers / carrier systems, with multiple SKUs
• have good attention to detail
• be a team player with a hands on approach to achieving targets

Experience with automated warehouse, logistics & stock control systems would be advantageous but full training will be given.
