Materials Buyer (Residential) A well-known Housing Developer based in Leicester has a vacancy for a Materials Buyer to join their team. The company are expanding rapidly, so this is a great time to join the company with this great opportunity!

Buyer Duties

• Ordering building materials and hiring plant
• Assisting with negotiations with Supply Chain
• Liaising directly with Site managers & Contracts Managers
• Site visits
• Attending project Meetings
• General administration/housekeeping duties

Buyer Requirements

-Experience working in a Buyer role (preferably for a Housing Developer but not required)

-Construction Industry experience

-Ability to use initiative and good communication skills

-Can manage circa 8 sites simultaneously

-COINS experience desirable, but not essential

Assistant Buyer Remuneration

Salary: circa £35,000 per annum + car allowance + Discretionary bonus + benefits Location: Leicester
