Transport Operations Manager

Transport Operation's Manager / Permanent role / 39 hours per week / £46,000 - £56,000 DOE / Bonus / Company Car/ 26 days holiday + Bank Holiday's / Based in Warrington

NC Associates are working on behalf of a Worldwide organisation who are looking for a Transport Operations Manager to join the team at the Warrington site.

Duties:

Having the responsibility of a fleet of 100 vehicles and trailers.
Directly Manage a temp of 20 and indirectly 100+
Working alongside other Senior Managers
Responsible for all the transport systems and processes.
Identifying and developing new ways of working to meet the needs of the business in order to provide the best possible service to the customers.
Must be flexible and have the ability to multi -task in the fast paced environment
Ability work across multiple projects and work within groups to bee the business needs
Ensuring that our trunking schedule meets the needs of the clients and are efficient and cost-effective operating schedules for the business.
Managing of a 7 day pre-agreed/Planned client collections service and Depot delivery schedule.
You must have the ability to hold the overall accountability for the operators license in the hub transport operation and manage your fleet fully.
There will be ocassions when you would be on site across the night shift and potentially weekends so flexibility is needed.
You must be able to make operational and strategic decisions at pace and have the self believe to commit to a plan of action by becoming the transport subject matter expert
you must have in depth knowledge of transport legislation compliance and legal compliance for fleet and drivers.
You will be reporting to the Head of Client and Network Distribution
Proven background within Operation Logistics and knowledge of transport governance
O license, CPC National or International holder.
Ability to work collaboratively and take lead on projects.
