Assistant Operations Manager

We have a new vacancy to work within a dynamic transport organisation where adaptability, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are critical to support the Operations Senior Management based in Fareham, Hampshire.

In this role you will be required to pro actively manage a team of supervisors and drivers, whilst developing and delivering a planned service, ensuring compliance at all times focusing on health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe supportive working environment and a service that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations. You will report into an Operations Manager which will ensure a smooth running of the entire operation, so whilst you have core responsibilities, you are very much working as part of an Operations Senior team.

As you will be working in a Commercial environment, business acumen will be key, as will an ability to work with customer satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements as a constant consideration

To be considered for this challenging yet rewarding role, experience within a transport organisation would be of benefit, but more importantly will be the personal attributes to thrive in a busy environment, juggling conflicting priorities and provide clear leadership in a calm and considered manner.

Hours for the role, Mon-Fri 40hrs per week
