Export Sales - Fluent German OR Fluent French

Location: Near Gatwick / Easy Commute From Horsham & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Large Benefits Package including Free Parking

We are recruiting for an award winning business near Gatwick who are looking to recruit a multilingual EXPORT SALES professional with either fluent German OR fluent French.

Please note, you will undertake occasional travel within the UK and internationally OVERSEAS so you need to be a driver and possess a passport to be considered for this job.

You will be involved with the following types of duties:

  • Communicate and implement pricing policy for existing export distributors, new markets and new products.
  • Agree pricing, stock control, regulatory activity, sales and marketing initiatives, forecasts with each export distributor annually.
  • Develop existing export distributors input/acceptance of annual forecasting and marketing strategy for each market and monitor and report on a monthly basis.
  • Organise review meetings every quarter with key export distributors to monitor and discuss market activity as agreed as part of annual sales and marketing plan.
  • Monitor distributor activity in relation to annual agreed objectives.
  • Produce and circulate regular visit reports highlight key issues that will affect sales, production and product/communication activities.
  • Monthly sales report production for inclusion in the sales and marketing departmental management and board reports.
  • Build strong relationships and have regular contact with export distributors and market influencers.
  • Aid organisation of and attend key exhibitions, distributor meetings and other key meetings as directed by the International Sales Manager in relation to the product portfolio.
  • Assist in the writing and communication of annual sales and marketing strategy and budget.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as and when required.
  • Conduct product training and staff inductions where applicable, as well as to distributors.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for new export markets and new product development.
  • Work closely with all relevant departments to ensure successful delivery of information from all markets.
  • Assist and support in the management of specified sales and marketing department projects as agreed with the International Sales Manager in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Occasional travel within the UK and internationally OVERSEAS.

Essential skills & Experience required:

  • Export sales experience with strong business management / account management skills.
  • Multilingual with fluency in English and either German OR French.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office to proficient level.
  • Occasional travel within the UK and internationally OVERSEAS.
  • Driving Licence & Passport is required.
