An exciting Depot Night Manager role has arisen to work for a growing UK PALLET DISTRIBUTION and HAULAGE business based at our client's premises in the STOKE area.
The role will be looking after a mixed team which includes Drivers / Shunters and Warehouse Operatives. The successful candidate must manage and action any out of hours issues ensuring that the operation is not impeded in anyway.
The successful candidate will also need to co-ordinate the safe loading and unloading of vehicles by the shunters and warehouse operatives. The role also administrative duties throughout the shift eg the creation of driver delivery manifests.
As the Depot Night Manager you will be responsible for all Health, Safety and environmental requirements during the duty period.
Requiremets :
- Must be computer literate
-Ability to learn the use of system-based software
- Hold a valid Counterbalance Lift Truck Licence
- Have a recognised management qualification
- Be prepared to attend first aider and fire marshall training course
- Have relevant warehouse experience at supervisory or management level.
Full-time - Salary - £28,000 to £30,000
Hours - 8pm to 6am
