Air and Sea Freight Operator

A privately owned and independent freight forwarder is searching for an experienced Air and Sea Freight Forwarding Operator to join their busy team in Doncaster

The company has been operating since 2003 and started out as a specialist in European road freight. While this is still their strongest market, they are growing their air and sea divisions and need a committed individual to join the team and help to drive the business forward.

You will get involved with the full freight forwarding cycle, from taking bookings, handling quotations, completing import and export documentation, tracking shipments, arranging haulage, liaising with airlines, shipping lines and invoicing

In order to apply for this role, you will need to have a freight forwarding background and ideally have exposure to both sea and air freight but we will consider just air or sea freight movements.

You will be keen to learn and master new skills. A self-starter. While you will be working in a team, you must also be able to work autonomously and passionate about customer service and "getting things right first time"

Benefits:

£22,000 to £29,000 dependant on experience
21 days holiday to start + 8 bank holidays and paid leave over the Christmas shut down
Annual team bonus
Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00
