WAREHOUSE MANAGER
BRAINTREE
Up to £25,000 - £28,000 + Incentive Scheme + Pension
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are working an exciting time to join this well established and expanding Electrical company
To be considered for the Warehouse Manager position you will need a 2 years' experience and Experience with the electrical, builder merchant, heating, plumbing Construction essential
Warehouse management with excellent leadership skills and ability to train and develop your team.
Experience within the electrical, builder merchant, heating, plumbing Construction essential
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing around 12 people
- Organise and manage the team on site day to day
- Ensure pickers have all orders ready to be loaded
- Organise shifts and involve 250 orders in a day
- Stock counts in place and over 98% accuracy with full compliance.
- Use stock control systems such as SAP to ensure everything is up to date and accurate
- Create regular reports and statistics for analysis.
- Motivate the team and encourage productivity.
- Maintain standards in line with company requirements and good housekeeping of warehouse.
- Be ultimately responsible for the stock and its journey from receipt to dispatch and all stock correctly located.
- Credits always processed on the same day as returned.
- Faulty parts / Damages/ Supplier Returns all managed on a daily basis
THE PERSON:
Experience with the electrical, builder merchant, heating, plumbing Construction essential
- Previous Warehouse Management experience essential
- Strong People Management
- Good numeracy and IT skills, particularly spreadsheets and databases
- Strong leadership abilities, driving results through a team approach
- Change management experience i.e. new procedures
- Experience with the electrical, builder merchant, heating, plumbing Construction
