We are on a talent acquisition programme and want candidates who can demonstrate success as a shift manager or graduates who see this position as their next career step. You will motivate and manage the shift supervisors and indirectly, their teams. Setting KPIs and contributing to improved efficiency and production on site. You will work closely with planning to set production targets and have regular liaison with engineering and technical support.

ABOUT YOU: You will have previous experience of running a production line, warehousing or an entire production workforce. It is critical that you can demonstrate a passion for leadership which enables you to build, lead and coach motivated teams. A brilliant relationship builder is critical, backed up with the drive and tenacity to succeed.

  • Possess a BTEC HNC/HND or degree in food science/technology, process engineering, business/management and or/transport/distribution/logistics
  • We will also consider talented time served shift managers
  • Have a passion for lean manufacturing best practice
  • Recognise that continuous improvement and Kaizen methods are essential
