AIRFREIGHT EXPORT OPERATOR - Freight Forwarding/International Shipping

9-12 Month maternity cover
£20,000 to £25,000 - Depending on Freight Forwarding experience
Birmingham Airport / NEC / Birmingham Business Park area
We are working with a Global Freight Forwarding organisation based in the Birmingham area who are seeking to recruit an experienced AIRFREIGHT EXPORT OPERATOR. Offering a salary of £20,000 - £25,000.
An immediate start is available and this is a maternity cover position, for at least 9-12 months.
The role will be to work in a busy and fast paced AIRFREIGHT EXPORT operation, handling EXPORT AIRFREIGHT shipments from start to finish.
Duties will include cutting MAWB’s and HAWB’s, raising Documentation, liaising with Airlines, customers and hauliers, making bookings, arranging collections and deliveries, Customs Entries as well as raising and passing invoices for each shipment file.
An element of training can be offered for the right candidate though previous Freight Forwarding experience in Airfreight Exports is required.
All Applicants are required to have a 5 year checkable work history and a clean criminal record.
