Our rapidly expanding and very creative client based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire are now in the market for an experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join the team. This is hybrid role most suited to applicants who enjoy a very varied workload and have a variety of skills to offer. Daily duties will typically involve :

Finance Responsibilities

Bank Access & Reconciliations

Sage Accounts journals

Payroll calculations & execution (incl. year end reporting)

Commissions & Expenses

Pensions

PAYE & NIC RTI Updates

VAT Filing with MTD (Making Tax Digital)

Management Accounts & Product Profitability

Accounts Preparation & Filing

Corporation Tax Calculations & Returns

Purchasing

Finance Assistant Management (Sales/Purchase Ledger)

Operational Responsibilities

Updating Terms & Conditions

Compliance

Complaint handling

Insurances

Health & Safety Policies

Business machines contracts

Licences

External Events Contracts & Contras

Hotels & Travel

Our client would ideally like to attract candidates who have the following skills and experience :

  • Part or full CIMA qualification

  • Some operational management experience
  • Experience of holding a senior role with finnace responsibility
  • The ability to lead a small team
