Role: Export Sales Coordinator
Location: Mansfield
Salary: c18-24k
We have an excellent opportunity for an experience Export Sales Coordinator to join our well-established client who are a manufacturer and distributor supplying to the utility market and are 20% ahead of the market to date.
The role of Export Sales Coordinator will involve:
- Working alongside the sales team to process daily sales and hire orders and following up on new business opporutnites
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, telephone efficiently and effectively
- Making sales follow up calls to existing customers and monitoring quote progress through to conclusion
- Liaising with internal and external sales staff to prepare quotations and offer support where necessary
- Proactively researching sales opportunities, organising promotions, exhibitions and demonstration days
- Preparation of daily and monthly sales figures and reports
The ideal candidate for the Export Sales Coordinator role will be:
- An experienced coordinator with a passion for customer service and business development
- Experience of international export trade including: Incoterms, Commodity Codes, VAT Rules, documentation, currency conversion would be an advantage
- Experience of working within a sales team environment
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and think outside of the box
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and preferably Iris / Inspire
- Knowledge and experience of the UK Utility market - Gas / Water / Polyethylene Pipes would be advantageous but not essential.
