Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager

A leading outsourced services provider require a Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager. Applicants need; commercial acumen, the ability to build relationships, be customer focused and pro-active.

The Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager will join a large and dynamic commercial function. This is an exciting 360 commercial position, in which the jobholder will interface with; customers and suppliers, acting as a broker. Adopting an account management or relationship manager approach - you will match the most appropriate suppliers to customer specifications. The role will demand a pro-active, positive approach as you will be responsible for strengthening existing and developing new relationships.

Specific duties of the Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager will include:

• Supplier market analysis and supplier assessment activities on behalf of clients
• Identify suitable supply partners based on offering, capability and capacity
• Negotiate, run the tender process and award contracts to suppliers on behalf of customers
• Relationship Management - meet with customers understand needs and configure supply chain accordingly
• Supplier Management - monitor supplier performance and drive improved performance
• Contract management - post-signature contract management, ensure suppliers hit customer SLAs

Customer & Supplier Relationship Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in a; commercial, sales, procurement, relationship management type role
• The ability to build relationships
• Customer focused
• Commercial acumen
• Pro-active, inquisitive nature
• Degree Qualification - preferred
