Supplier Manager

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are excited to be recruiting a Supplier Manager within a multi-million pound turnover business in Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

Working as part of the Purchasing department, our Supplier Manager will be responsible for:

* Raising orders with suppliers which are passed from the Planning team
* Chasing for confirmations and checking and updating the internal tracking system at all points of the shipment until goods received
* Management of product specification sheets and issuing to suppliers
* Arranging quality inspections and working directly with suppliers to overcome any quality issues before signing off for shipment
* Arranging shipments with freight forwarders
* Manage suppliers to agreed lead times, MOQ's, OTIF's and any urgent requirements for the business
* Controlling quality related stock issues from your suppliers
* Assisting Customer Service in Quality related queries & complaints from the suppliers you manage

THE PERSON:

* Experience of working in a similar role within purchasing/shipping
* Systems & detail driven
* Be comfortable working with a large amount of SKU's
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
* Work in a fast-moving environment
