Reports to:
Supply Chain Manager
Purpose of Role:
To raise purchase orders for materials, operational equipment and sub-contract operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with the routine operations of the Purchasing department.
- Ensure the smooth running of the day to day functions of the office by raising and processing purchase requisitions and chasing deliveries.
- Building and maintaining outstanding relationships whilst logging and tracking supplier performance.
- Track and manage sub-contractor deliveries.
- Provide any other general administrative support to the team as may be required.
- To support the company’s continuous improvement programme.
- To perform all reasonable requests made by management.
Key Requirements:
- Supplier focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding communication with good interpersonal skills at all levels
- High attention to detail
- Ensure high quality customer service levels
- You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a positive approach to all areas of your work
- Excel knowledge essential
- Would suit a school leaver
