Buyer - Bespoke Manufacturing Company - Macclesfield- Up to £30,000

Our client is a bespoke manufacturing company, responsible for several major contracts throughout the UK. They are committed to providing customers with the highest level of service as well as a seamless delivery and fitting experience. They operate out of the North West, but have a national reach. They pride themselves on their high operational standards, their world class design and manufacture and the people that work for them.
The Rewards
- Salary - £27-30,000

Buyer - Requirements
- 3 years experience in a relevant Buying role
- Solutions driven with the ability to think and work under pressure with time constraints
- Leading and developing a team
- Motivating your team, driving passion for an exceptional operational service
- Instil a companywide culture of efficiency and quality
- Strong IT skills including spreadsheets for management reports
- Strong communicator with tonnes of enthusiasm and desire to grow with the company
- Attention to detail and an analytical approach to work
Buyer - Responsibilities
- Placing orders from the Far East with an 8 -10 week lead time
- Accurately book in container deliveries with custom freight
- Complete management of the UK based purchasing for non-stock and inventory items associated with the manufacture
- A supportive leader who has a passion for managing and developing their small buying department
- A genuine passion for improving the development of the department including recruitment and implementation of new technology
- To monitor and track all supplier relations including non-conformances and discrepancies
- Solutions driven with the ability to think and work under pressure with time constraints
- Commercially orientated - management of key suppliers, negotiate new contracts and re-negotiate existing terms
