Software Implementation Consultant - ERP, Supply Chain, Cloud

Birmingham, West Midlands (10-minute walk from New Street)

£30,000 - £40,000 pa (Depending on Experience) + Bonus (up to 20%) + Excellent Benefits

Established global supply chain software company's Birmingham office, seeks further software implementation consultant to work as part of their customer success team. The successful candidate would also be working closely with a roster of high-profile clients across various industries including automotive, aviation, aerospace, mining and oil and gas and to implement cloud-based supply chain solutions focusing on inventory, pricing and post sales maintenance up-time with IOT tech. This is a great opportunity for an experienced software implementation consultant to join a truly global company as part of a fun and friendly team.

The software implementation consultant role allows for growth and the company offers potential opportunities for progression into Project Management and Business Analyst positions in the mid-term.

Ability to travel is essential for this role. The the successful candidate can expect to spend approximately 1 out of every 6 weeks on average travelling across the UK, Europe, North and as far afield as South America and the Far East

Responsibilities:

Identify customer needs and design a business process solution.

Manage implementation of projects.

Identify enhancement ideas and opportunities with customers.

Delivering workshops to elicit configuration requirements & providing end user training on go live.

Experience:

Good Supply Chain Management knowledge / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) background gained either in house or for a vendor (SAP Info M3 for example) servicing similar customers and stake holders from the supply chain, automotive, aerospace, aviation, agricultural, mining, O&G or industrial equipment sectors.

Numerate University Degree - IT, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Business are subject of interest

Knowledge of Business Systems Administration procedures

A minimum of 3-5 year's + professional experience in software implementations role

A passion for IT and supply chain / after sales service type software

Solid analytical skills, working with data and reports s

Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written in English

Good understanding of ERP / Supply Chain systems and typical business processes and problems

Desirable - any European language skills are of interest

Basic SQL for data querying

Package:

£30,000 - £40,000 basic salary depending on experience

Excellent bonus scheme on offer - equivalent to up to 2.5 months of yearly wage as bonus (Based on a mix of profit share/billable hours and net promoter scores)
