Payments Manager. This hugely successful, award-winning Fintech - global payments services & FX - seeks a senior-level payments manager, with recent experience of leading domestic and international payments teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your knowledge and experience, to lead their Payments team during a time of change and against the backdrop of a company-wide transformation programme which is seeing huge investment in new technology.

Payments Manager - The role:

Joining a well-established, but continually evolving department, in an environment with a strong compliance, process and risk mitigation emphasis, this position will see you responsible for the performance, development and continual improvement of the both the payment operations function and the development of the team.

  • The scope of the role is wide, from the day-to-day team management and development, to quality assurance, escalations, process improvement, risk management.
  • You will be able to utilise any service management experience you have, in defining how key clients are serviced.
  • There will be plenty of scope to feed into the company transformation programme, liaising with the other departments around you, for instance: Treasury, Client Support, Service Management, together with Risk, Compliance, etc.

Payments Manager - The candidate:

This is a critical hire for the company and, as such, they seek an experienced, process-driven payments manager; someone with the ability to facilitate and drive technical and operation change, transforming a team: -

  • A solid background managing and developing payments processing departments at a fintech or bank
  • Strong knowledge of both international and domestic payments, FX, rules & regulations
  • Strong technology and integrations experience
  • Additional service management experience desirable - e.g. incident and problem management - as is a knowledge of Salesforce or Service Cloud
  • An understanding of treasury and reconciliation processes useful
