Our client is a privately owned established freight forwarder with offices throughout England and is currently looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator to work at their Basildon office. The role would ideally suit a 2nd jobber or someone with some experience of working Logistics/Warehouse environment.

Purpose of the role:

To provide a full logistics service throughout the UK for specific customers.

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with Customers regarding their requirements for orders.
  • Looking after specific Pick & Pack customers
  • Physically preparing Orders and arranging collections and deliveries
  • Keeping up-to-date stock lists.
  • Charging storage / pick & pack files each month

To be successful for the role you will have experience of working within a Logistics/Warehouse environment , have good customer service skills and the ability to work in a small team but also be self-sufficient. A good understanding of Microsoft Excel is essential for the role.

Salary - £ 18/22k depending on level of experience.
