Media Buyer

The Doors Group is a fast growing Leeds based company with a number of brands nationally within the External Doors & Windows market - most notably, Garolla, Value Doors, Frame Style and Door Supermarket.

Due to recent growth we are now looking for an experienced media buyer to lead our local advertising marketing efforts. This role will have one direct report to begin with, reporting into the Digital Manager.

The role will work initially on one of our brands Garolla, a roller garage door company and our local media advertising initiatives. Researching, collating relevant information, negotiating pricing, and placing local advertising bookings to support regions throughout the UK. This role will progress to take ownership of other offline activity, TV media planning and advertising, flyer and brochure production and occasional exhibition support.

I am looking for someone who is:

• An experienced media buyer - advertising with local publications.
• Leads by example
• Proven negotiation skills
• A good communicator, written and orally
• Analytical and good with numbers
• Tech savvy and able to use spreadsheets
• Organised - you will be supporting many business units with hundreds of adverts a month
• A can do attitude
• Must be able to manage working under pressure.
• Efficient time management skills.
• Be able to use adobe photoshop or illustrator or indesign would be a plus.
• Able to think on your feet and react to demand
• A want to succeed in your tasks and targets.
• You will need to have good organisational skills, be a self-starter, punctual and possess good people skills.

You will be conscious of budgets you manage, analytical in terms of return on monies spent and driven to develop your negotiation skills within a company that is going places.
