I have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company within the construction sector based in Ipswich. Due to continued business growth they are looking to recruit a full time Coordinator to join the busy Sales & Logistics team.
As part of a small team of 4, the main focus of the role is on the processing of customer orders, the organisation of customer deliveries and the provision of excellent customer service support.
Key duties:
- To process customer orders on the bespoke in-house system
- To place orders from UK based warehouse and from 3rd party suppliers
- To liaise with factory, hauliers, suppliers and customers to organise and coordinate deliveries
- To check delivery documentation with supplier invoices and liaise with accounts department accordingly
- To liaise with other internal departments and sales teams regarding deliveries and product supplies
- Full on the job training will be provided
Key skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in sales order processing is ideal (but not essential)
- Superb communication skills (written and spoken)
- Able to establish good working relationships easily
- Proactive with good problem solving skills
- Competent maths skills
- Calm approach with ability to remain clear thinking during busy periods
- Flexible approach to work and willing to help other teams if required
- Confident IT user including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
8:30am-5pm; 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
