2Fawcett are recruiting for a Road Freight Coordinator to join a company located Derby on a permanent basis. This is a new role as Road Freight Coordinator. The company are very well known in their industry, and certainly a company you will definitely want on your CV!

The Role & Responsibilities of the Road Freight Coordinator
- Taking and distributing incoming calls
- Dealing with incoming email enquiries
- Pro-active monitoring of allocated shipments in transit via phone - sms - email - skype
- Providing shipment updates to customers via phone - sms - email
- Communicating shipment issues to senior operations staff
- Calculating and providing quotations for road based movements via phone and email
- Keying in enquiries and jobs on to the Transport Management System
- Updating daily vehicle availability
- Completing and distributing key client daily reports
Requirements of the Road Freight Coordinator
- Road Logistics
- Have a determined and positive outlook
- Not be afraid to work hard, have passion and desire
- Excellent IT Skills, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills
