Desirable Experience: Stock Control / Arranging Deliveries / Microsoft Excel / Pick and Pack

This is an opportunity to work for a freight forwarding business in a warehouse environment, providing an excellent storage and Pick & Pack service to clients.

Duties:

  • Looking after specific Pick & Pack customers
  • Physically preparing Orders and arranging collections and deliveries
  • Keeping up-to-date stock lists
  • Charging storage / pick & pack files each month
  • Liaising with Customers regarding their requirements for orders
  • Updating stock levels and performing regular stock takes
  • Obtaining the best possible price for deliveries
  • Creating picking / packing lists

Required experience

  • Previous experience in a stock control function
  • Ideally experience working for a Logistics business
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a small team but also be self-sufficient
