Job Role: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Hatfield

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client, a renowned supplier based in Hertfordshire, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for all stages of the supply chain from beginning to end which will require managing the procurement, warehouse, production, and dispatch processes.

Main Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager

• Oversee all steps of the supply chain
• Communicate and report to the Technical Director
• Manage the Gross Profit percentage
• Responsible for the procurement function
• Use business software systems for stock control and valuation
• Monitor productivity and provide improvements where necessary
• Promote and implement basic lean principles
• Monitoring production, stock, warehouse and dispatch
• Lead and manage the Production & Assembly team
• Ensure the maintenance of the premises and company vehicles
• Assist with Recruitment, HR and Health & Safety duties
• Support the company with other adhoc tasks

Ideal Candidate for the Supply Chain Manager

• Experience in management, purchasing and logistics
• A good understanding of the ethical and legal guidelines associated with the supply chain
• Highly organised and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work well as a team and independently
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong IT skills
