Pursuit Resources are currently recruiting for an Account Manager within Supply Chain for our client, a global, multi-billion pound, industry-leading company, who are growing rapidly! The Account Manager will work as part of a small team to manage overall commercial and operational aspects of one of EU's Key Accounts. You will provide a professional service to the customer to include management of end to end supply chain co-ordination, inventory management, forecast analysis and returns process against an agreed level of performance parameters.

Duties will include:

  • Liaise and build relationships with key customer, vendor & internal contacts in order to deliver against customer's high-performance expectations
  • Monitor overall stock levels. Manage and escalate overstock/under-stock situations & reconcile inventories. This will require management of high-level forecasting reviews including historical and future sales data.
  • Ensure implementation and complete process execution within given timeframes of all New Product Introductions (NPI's) to ensure a smooth product launch
  • Ensure compliance for specific vendors in line with the company's legal requirements with respect to the purchase and transportation of goods.
  • Work closely with the Product Managers in order to make sure all costs of business are included in pricing before submission to customer, including freight and rebates
  • Maintain knowledge of internal and external policies regarding returns and both contractual and operational obligations are met for both the customer and the vendor.

Our client is looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years retail distribution experience in operational functions
  • Distribution operational excellence experience
  • Key Account experience in supply chain management
  • Well organised and able to undertake project work as required
  • Proven ability to implement value-add programs
  • Attention to Detail
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills
