Pharmaceutical Procurement / Buyer Officer - Northampton

Opportunity:

Are you currently working in purchasing sourcing raw materials and packaging materials for products in the UK and foreign countries? Have you sourced suppliers and negotiated on prices? Yes then please read on.

Your role as a Pharmaceutical Procurement / Buyer Officer based in Northampton will involve buying raw materials and packaging materials for products in the UK and foreign countries.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing, liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Working with Production and Warehouse departments for products and planning.
  • Planning and forecasting.
  • Managing stock balances electronically on Excel.
  • Supplier performance monitoring and feedback.
  • Managing complaints with Regulatory and business SLA`s and that root cause is identified.
  • Raising daily purchase orders.

This is a full time permanent job opportunity paying between £19,000 - £22,000 per annum with great benefits. There is a lot of career development as the company continues to grow.

Skills:

  • Experience in carrying out the above duties ideally within the pharmaceutical or related scientific industry.
  • Excellent IT skills particularly with Excel and Word.
