An ambitious Procurement Assistant / Assistant Buyer is required to join this global blue chip business on a permanent basis. Working in the Purchasing department this is a fast paced, very commercial role that is crucial to the business.

This is a great role that will provide you with a good challenge and the opportunity to really add value to the team. Your key duties will involve supporting the Procurement Team by dealing with suppliers and customers alike. You will be involved with sourcing rates from suppliers, updating and maintaining specific rate spreadsheets, dealing with rate and invoice queries, creating reports in excel for colleagues and customers alike.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have superb attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under pressure, able to prioritise and react accordingly to changing business demands and great communication skills. You must have current experience working in a procurement / buying / purchasing role. Strong Excel skills are also essential.
