Outline:

I am recruiting for a reputable, international business based in the Aston area.

They are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who can become the newest addition to the purchasing department.

The main purpose of this role is to play an active part in the coordination of shipping and exports.

Duties include:

• Ensure accuracy of purchase orders placed

• Ensure Shipments are on time and in full

• Communicate order changes to the relevant departments

• Authorise shipments to freight forwarders

• Ensure correct documents are provided for customs clearance

• Management of inbound freight

• Creation of inbound shipments

• Progress overdue purchase orders

• Measure and manage suppliers delivery performance

• Ensure accurate landed costs are allocated to orders

• Expedite orders

Ideal candidate

• This line manager is looking for someone who has the relevant experience in either purchasing, shipping, freight forwarding or exports.

• Must have a good grasp of Maths and numbers

• High attention to detail due to volume of orders
