Procurement Analyst job with a Leading Financial Service Firm based in Central London

Your new company
You will join a leading Investment Management Company based in Central London. They turn over over £150m and employ c. 1000 people across the country. The firm act for many professional institutes, trusts, charities and major financial institutions, with their main business objective remaining the same throughout; to provide a high-quality service to private investors.

Your new role
Your role will report into Finance and you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing all 3rd party spend. You will act as a pivotal point to maintain and develop a comprehensive set of rules, processes and accountabilities to enable more control over the Group's Procurement activity.

You will need to be a self-starter and a forward thinker as your role will focus on implementing governance and controls to monitor spend with suppliers. Day to day you will liaise with various different business lines, to map out the suppliers that they are using, categorise spend and challenge them where appropriate to tighten control.

The predominantly focuses on IT spend, more specifically Software but also has a focus on HR and FM too.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need exceptional communication skills as your role focuses on raising the profile of procurement and the importance of following process/procedures. You will need some familiarity with financial statements and possess analysis skills as your role sits within Finance. Despite this, you do need to have experience with procurement, having a good understanding of supplier contracts, tender process, RFPs and Service Level Agreements.
