Job Title: Export BDM
Are you a Business Development Manager with a proven experience in the gift industry? Our client is looking for an energetic, motivated and target driven individual to join their sales team
Responsibilities:
- Follow the sales, new product development, quality and logistics flow chart for all customer product requests
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods and close communication with buyers, buying associates and all relevant personnel at appointment customers
- Present the company, products and traded products to current and potentially new customers at customer meetings and trade shows ensuring that all buying seasons are covered
- Prepare and present detailed quotations and traded products to customers, ensuring the correct delivery and payment terms are accounted for and that all figures used are correct and margin targets are not compromised
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact to ensure that business aims are achieved and customer's deadlines are met
- Ensure that customer contact details are kept up-to-date and that the relevant people have the correct information
- Attend gift/sales and NPD meetings as required and ensure that any action points are followed up
- Attend trade shows both in the UK and aboard as and when required
Requirements:
- Excellent proven record and good experience in the gift
- Exposure to Export
