Supply chain planner - 30-35k

We're working on a fantastic opportunity with a market leading retail sector organisation based in Southampton. Our client is a well-established and successful company that are now looking for an experienced and talented Supply Chain Planner to join their thriving team.

The successful candidate must be ready to effectively coordinate all aspects of supply chain, take a high level of ownership and proactively deliver results.

The focus of this role is to represent the supply chain on all corporate activity across all markets. The Main responsibilities of the Supply Planner role are:
*Ensure the efficient and timely supply of stock across specific stores.
*To work closely with the market and supply category team, ensuring targets are met and delivered to agreed plans.
*To strive for stock optimisation - overstock reduced and inventory days improved.
*Effectively implement exits and launch of new product and ranges providing clear and precise information for the supply chain.
*Inventory Management - Ongoing reviews of obsolete or non-moving stock and development of plans to deal with excess stock.
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in a similar role.
