You will be responsible for the strategic management of all procurement activities, maximising value for money opportunities through process improvement across the orthopaedics.

Description

Deliver world class service and provide creative, cost effective solutions for some of the toughest challenges.

Responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of procurement services in the category of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Spine.

Client service approach and act as the main point of contact for the category, building and maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders along with developing Spend Efficiency

Reports and agreeing pricing and implementation for Public Health Trusts.

Developing strategic category plans.

Research a wide range of supply markets to develop and implement strategies for category procurement, provide specialise advice on EU procurement law.

Profile

Confident and articulate with an engaging manner and great energy

Commercially driven and results focused, responding naturally to pressure and demanding deadlines

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

At least 2 year's experience of Procurement/Category Management/Project Management

Ideally some knowledge of Orthopaedic products and experience of working within clinical settings.

Highly developed numerical and analytic skills with strong Excel knowledge
