SF Recruitment are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join a company based in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a stock forecast which encompasses the business plan, peak trading activities and the marketing initiatives.
- Analysing inventory ensuring stock turn values are consistently achieved and minimum stock levels are adjusted in line with forecast and demand plans.
- Working closely with the Product Management Team, planning inventory for new and existing product ranges.
- Proactively troubleshooting issues that could potentially affect inventory levels.
- Improving SRM, specifically delivery performance.
- Developing a good relationship with the Logistics and Production Managers to ensure inbound deliveries are managed and planned
Requirements:
- A strong forecast and demand planning background
- The ability to develop, implement and manage forecast, demand planning and inventory control strategies
- Demonstrable experience managing a significant amount of SKUs
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- A degree level qualification with excellent MS Excel skills
