Planner role on offer for an expanding company where you will be given training to develop your skills, career progression opportunities in a brand new, modern site.

Do you have a background in the planning or logistics of materials? Are you familiar with MRP systems and dealing with suppliers?

With a history going back over 100 years this company specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist vehicles all over the world. Having invested millions of pounds into a brand new site they now require a Demand Planner for their parts logistics team to support their ongoing business growth.

You will play an important part in ensuring that current stock and future demand projections are met through using the SAP MRP System. You'll work closely with sales, manufacturing and the supply chain to minimise the risk of customers not being supplied with essential parts in line with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be someone with experience of demand planning, or logistics planning for parts within a manufacturing environment. It is essential that you've worked with MRP/ERP systems and will need to provide clear, concise information/reports to management.

*Demand Planner - Parts *Improve logistics processes and storage of parts *Forecasting future demands *Working closely with sales, supply chain and other functions

The Person:

*Experience within a demand planning or logistics planning role *Experience of dealing with materials and parts *Highly motivated, strong communication skills and report writing skills *Ideally will be from a manufacturing environment
