I am working with a leading global organisation in their search for a talented Logistics Administrator to join them on a permanent basis paying £20,000 based in Coventry.
Job Purpose:
To assist Material Planners regarding the release of daily production build plans in line with customer requirements.
To assist Material Planners regarding the weekly customer parts requirement schedules to suppliers based on customer demand.
Help maintain accurate inventory levels of all parts using computer-based stock control systems and the operation of inventory control processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational
1. Assist Material Planners with the release of daily production plans in line with customer requirements.
2. Assist Material Planners in the release of customer requirement schedules to suppliers based on customer demand.
3. Issue of daily inbounds documentation received to customers.
4. Update daily used information.
5. Issue of weekly stock data to suppliers address queries.
6. Maintain a good working relationship with all suppliers and customers.
7. Adhere to appropriate processes and procedures.
People Management
1. Responsible for Health & Safety.
2. Responsible for welfare and communication.
3. Ability to liaise with customers on all levels.
Pre-requisites and Skills:
Communication skills both verbal and written
Able to work to tight time scales
Computer literacy specifically MS Office, Excel and Word.
