Are you looking for a new challenge and change in career direction? My client, a leading international insurance broker seeks an experienced London Market professional with knowledge across all major classes of insurance for a Bid Manager position.

Your role will be to manage the bid response process with the highest integrity, encompassing both Defensive and Offensive bids. Successfully responding to bids, you will standardise the bid qualification procedure and use your superb organisation skills to get the whole process running like clockwork.

Engaging with both the brand and marketing departments, you will build efficiencies into your process whilst keeping your main focus on bids for large corporates, both from a retail and wholesale basis. You will use your industry knowledge to help get the best from their specialist broking teams

The successful person will be degree qualified (or equivalent), be able to demonstrate significant experience working in the insurance market from either a broking, underwriting or loss adjusting background, and have a deep understanding of all major classes of insurance.

You will be highly analytical and have strong negotiation and influencing skills whilst maintaining close, positive working relationships. In addition you will be detail-oriented when working on a bid, but can also think strategically about the bid management strategy as a whole.
