Warehouse Manager

This is working for a very successful company in Southampton, one of the leading companies in their field. This is a very busy role where you will be joining a friendly Warehouse team and would be expected to oversee them in completing a number of general warehouse duties; you will also be hands on with the tasks. The environment is busy but people are passionate about the company and are motivated to do a good job.

The Role

This is a very involved and active role where you will be working in a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for taking a lead in the receiving and dispatching of large orders, stock taking and stock management. You will be the lead user of the IT based stock management systems. There is a settled, small team which you will motivate and manage.

The Ideal Candidate

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have experience working within a warehouse environment and management of processes and systems as well as experience of management of a small team. You will need to have good communication and motivational skills and be comfortable allocating work accordingly. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work well under pressure, have good attention to detail and enjoy working in a team.
