Role – Warehouse Manager
 
Salary – up to £30,000 per annum

Location – Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Have you had previous experience managing a warehouse? Do you have a strong work ethic with a passion for leading by example? Atlas Employment is delighted to be working alongside a new client based within the Wallingford, Oxfordshire area. They are looking for a dynamic individual to join their friendly team as a Warehouse Manager.

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Manager?

  • Managing a team between 20 - 30 people
  • Leading by example with time, attendance and a can-do approach
  • Training and developing staff to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Taking responsibility for your own training and development needs
  • Reviewing resource requirements on an hourly / daily / weekly basis and implementing plans to ensure order delivery is in-line with the company KPI measures
  • Using data from IT systems to review performance and quality and to plan improvements
  • Ensuring dispatches and deliveries are loaded or unloaded within time scales
  • Carrying out accurate stock checks on required products as and when required and circulates information
  • Making sure warehouse is running smoothly

  • Previous experience within a Warehouse Manager/Team leader role 
  • Previous experience within a busy and fast-moving warehouse 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • A strong work ethic 
  • The ability to manage own workload

  • A valid UK driving licence
