Our client is a market leading blue-chip defence company that is urgently seeking a driven procurement Buyer to join their hugely successful procurement division. Their new Buyer will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere and be encouraged to progress within the organisation.

This ambitious procurement professional will:

• Develop and implement new procurement strategy
• Work closely with senior management on key projects, and provide expert advice on works type contracts
• Will demonstrate strong construction experience

Procurement Skills Required: -

• A background in procurement, preferably from a blue-chipenvironment
• A solid understanding of works contracts, specifically NEC3 and JCT
• Degree qualified (or equivalent)
• CIPS qualified
