About the company

My client are a dynamic, energetic Freight Forwarding business now in their 9th year of trading. Having experienced significant and continued growth throughout this time they are now seeking an experienced Logistics Customer Service Agent to be part of the team coordinating delivery of goods across the UK.

Headquartered in the South East of the UK, with their own office in China and representation in the US, they are well versed in creating success both from a sales and operational perspective.

Their modern, impressive offices provide an extremely pleasant environment to work in. Their operations professionals are given a sense of autonomy that helps them to flourish and are afforded the flexibility to make decisions that they wouldn’t be able to make elsewhere and they positively encourage the development of client relationships.

About the role

You will take exclusive responsibility for taking bookings over the phone and by email, quoting prices and liaising with customers to update them on progress with regards to the movement of their goods. This is a role that requires high levels of organisation, an ability to manage a busy workload and proven administrative & communication skills.

The person

My client are looking for a talented, ambitious Customer Service Agent for this role. Good knowledge of the regions within the UK is advantageous, with strong administration skills and great communication skills. A year plus experience in a similar role required.
