Marketing Procurement Buyer

Our client is home to some of the most iconic British snacks, and they are looking for a Buyer to support the Category Manager for Marketing Services with developing and implementing their procurement sourcing strategies so they can keep delivering quality marketing campaigns at a competitive cost.

The role holder must have experience with marketing procurement and be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels. They will be working with a procurement budget up to £100m and putting the consumer right at the heart of their business.

The Marketing Services Procurement Buyer will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing sourcing strategies in a greenfield function, across a wide range of remits, including: creative strategy and development, packing, social media, customer insights POS and marketing production
• Leading high-level marketing negotiations as well as providing expert analysis on all areas of the marketing procurement function
• Full end-to-end procurement cycle
• Ownership of the tender process

As a Marketing Services Procurement Buyer, the successful candidate will have:

• Experience with marketing procurement
  • This includes knowledge of marketing service agencies and how they work
• Impressive stakeholder management skills
• Degree
  • CIPS beneficial, but not essential
